Alya is a registered acupuncturist located in Mangawhai, Aotearoa (NZ). Her own health journey and interest in alternative healing brought her to Acupuncture, where she studied for 4.5 years completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With a passion for women’s health and a strong focus on preconception, maternity and postnatal support, her aim is to provide a holistic and unique experience for each patient, where they feel safe, validated and nurtured in her care.

Alya uses traditional Chinese healing modalities including acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping and guasha whilst incorporating Te Whare Tapa Whā (taha tinana (physical well-being), taha hinengaro (mental and emotional well-being), taha whānau (social well-being), and taha wairua (spiritual well-being) into her practice.
